About
BoyFriends is all about helping people make connections. Many of us in the gay community feel there are too many barriers to creating genuine friendships with one another. We see little groups and pockets of friends and try to infiltrate them with little success. This leads to low self-esteem and resentment of one’s own community. That, in turn, bleeds into our romantic lives, clouding our judgments of people we’re interested in and sabotaging our chances of finding love. There is a way in – past the velvet rope that separates many of us from a thriving gay social life.
Jarrod D. King, Noel Christian, and Gregory Drey answer the questions asked by those who feel on the outside looking in: “How do I create a circle of friends?” “Am I too feminine to find love?” “Why does nobody talk to anyone outside of their clique?” By the end of each episode, the hosts share their advice and viewers get new strategies on how to better their social life. All the while, they enjoy some minor host feuds, enlightening conversations, and a ton of laughs.
